Staff very friendly food good

We have been here several times now and I finally have to write my review here: Both the Bergische coffee table (with waffles, cherries and rice pudding) and the family breakfast, or the family brunch ..... Here you get very well-filled plates and The coffee is also very tasty. Thanks for the nice hospitality and we'd love to come back.

Thank you very much for the great hours at Cafe Alte Dombach !! We celebrated our wedding here and thanks to the efforts of the Boess family and colleagues, it was a really nice, relaxed, great day in this great location! In the run-up, all ideas and ideas could be implemented and discussed together, which helped us a lot. The points were lovingly implemented with a lot of commitment. We were NOT looking for a star-rated kitchen or a magnificent palace, we got very delicious food and pure idyll! We and our guests were thrilled! Despite the adverse circumstances of Corona, partying is possible and safe! I was served very courteously. To the gentlemen who write that the poor waitress is overwhelmed, should maybe switch off and enjoy the air of the forest. There is strength in the quiet. You should just think about yourself. Some guests have this behavior I've seen it here several times and don't think it's great.

Nice beer garden for the whole family, only the service leaves a lot to be desired. In one group, food and drinks were simply forgotten despite repetition. Not nice when you can watch the others eating. Service generally overwhelmed and unfriendly.

Very nice cafe with a playground for the kids

A very nice cafe with a large outdoor area and friendly service. The distances are very good to keep in Corona times. There is a playground next door for children. Very idyllic atmosphere due to a pond and beautiful plants.

Waited 45 minutes for cake (didn't get it, then left)! 2 disappointed children! Complete chaos and unfriendly! If you don't feel like gastronomy or just can't get it under control, then it is better to look for a job that is fun or mastered! The unprofessional reaction to bad Google reviews is the exact replica of the sound that the tenants also strike at the guests on site! Great museum, horrible cafe. Partly the outside catering had the flair of a junkyard. Eating can be good if you got it :-( Therefore I can not give a judgment! Why don't you look for a tenant who doesn't put the museum in a bad light?

Big, delicious pieces of cake. Friendly, dedicated employees. If others have had less good experiences, then that seems to me too. It is just a tourist restaurant, with a strong fluctuation in demand. It will not always be easy to adapt the staff to the demand and the demands of the guests.

We'd known this place before, but having celebrated our son's first birthday there, we are now real fans of the owner and the way she practically hosted the event for us making us feel like VIP customers and doing everything so our bunch would be having fun. Thank you and see you soon!
